Hylo Dual Intense Lubricating Eye Drops promotes intensive moisturisation as it is highly viscous due to their particularly high concentration of long-chain hyaluronic acid (0.2%) and so adhere to the surface of the eye for a long time. Hyaluronic acid has an especially high water-binding capacity. This means that the eye is supplied with a particularly intensive and long-lasting moisture film. At the same time, the drops reduce friction between the eyelid and the cornea, which prevents additional irritation of the eye and leaves behind a pleasant sensation. Ectoine increases water retention in the cells in the surface of the eye. At the same time, Ectoin calms strained tissue and soothes typical inflammation complaints such as burning, itching and the sensation of having a foreign body in the eye.
